Chanel N°5
When you first spray this perfume, the scent of citrus fruits hits your nose. Then vanilla, amber, and patchouli come after the top note (citrus fruit) evaporates away a bit. Ernest Beaux was the person who created this perfume to challenge herself by trying something new, which was creating a fragrance that was composed like a dress. Beaux’s introduction of aldehydes into perfumes became a revolution that greatly changed the perfume industry. Its design also became one of the standardized designs today with its classy but simple characteristics.
Chanel N°5's legacy continues to shape the perfume industry, encouraging perfumers to innovate and create compositions that blend tradition with modernity.
