Rodrigo Flores-Roux

Rodrigo Flores-Roux, born and raised in Mexico City, gained interest in perfumes at a young age. This led him to study biology before attending ISIPCA. His career began with designing the scents for shampoos and cosmetic products, but the creation of Clinique Happy established his reputation in the perfume industry.

Flores-Roux is known for an expressive style that evokes a sensory experience. His love for flowers and Mexican heritage serve as the biggest sources of inspiration. Outside of perfumes, he’s a self-described perfume historian. Diorissimo by Dior is one of his favorite perfumes for both its ingenuity and its history.

Arquiste’s Peau, a fragrance that represents skin, is one of his recent notable successes. It reflects the emotional impact of COVID-19. Along with creating new fragrances, he maintains his position as a Senior Perfumer and Vice President at Givaudan.
